Clean for Protection If your reel is seized up, sticking or chattering it can usually be repaired to work like new. Saltwater eats everything...especially fishing reels. Our cleaning process protects your reel's working parts better than any manufacturer. Protect your reel for the future.
Clean Completely We clean reels completely, not just a quick lube. Reels are fully disassembled and properly cleaned and lubricated. Old grease and oil is removed and corrosion removed (as much as possible). Drag pads or disks are properly cleaned and/or prepared as is required by the style.
New Parts Believe it or not, most reels don't need new parts. Even after many years of use. Most of the competition will offer clean and repair for a low price, but then charge significantly for parts. We only replace parts that are really damaged. We'll ship them back to you so that you can see the damage.
Cleaning is Job One We don't sell parts or offer reel diagrams. And we don't sell rods, reels or other tackle. We just clean and repair fishing reels.
Communication All units sent in for repair will receive a no-charge evaluation. We'll email you with the results of our inspection and a preliminary quote and get your approval before proceeding with the repair. Units sent in for cleaning only will generally be serviced at the standard rate. If we believe the job will take more than the standard effort, we'll email the evaluation to you. If we find a damaged or worn part during cleaning, we'll email you for authorization prior to repair.
